What is Plentina?
Plentina is a venture backed fintech company that aims to unlock financial services for the emerging middle class.
Is Plentina registered under a government institution?
Yes, Plentina Lending Inc. is registered with the SEC as a lending company in the Philippines with SEC Registration Company Registration No. CS20200001117 and SEC Certificate of Authority (to operate as a lending company) No. 3266.
Who can use Plentina?
Plentina is available to Filipinos aged 21 and above.
How does it work?
Download Plentina's app to get started. You'll be asked to go through a short application process to protect your identity and provide you with a credit score. Once we've confirmed your identity you may be approved for a store credit loan. Currently we work with 7-Eleven to provide you a gift code for use on your CLiQQ wallet. At launch we collect repayments through GCash or GrabPay. You may do this straight from the Plentina app.
Which areas in the Philippines are covered by Plentina?
Our service allows anyone from the Philippines to receive and spend credits at all 7-Eleven stores through their CLiQQ wallet.

How do I apply for a loan?
(We are in our closed beta, eligible users will receive invites to download our app through SMS)

How is my credit score determined?
Plentina leverages alternative sources of creditworthiness data, including retail transaction history and mobile data to discover new ways to qualify you for credit. To ensure your privacy we only use data you have allowed our partners to share with Plentina, and data you have directly provided Plentina.
How long will it take to process my application?
As long as complete and correct information was provided in your application, yours should be successfully processed within a day. Applications received outside business hours may be approved on the next working day.

Borrowing and Disbursement
What are the loan payment terms?
The closed beta loan terms are 30 days from when you've accepted our offer. These may vary over time as we refine our services.
What are the interest rates and fees for my loan?
We will not charge interest during our launch phase but we charge a service fee to help cover our operations.
Is there a minimum or maximum loan amount?
We are evaluating the best loan amounts for our users. For now we are offering a Php250 store credit loan to load into your CLiQQ wallet. Over time we will be offering different loan amounts based on your credit score.
Can I have more than one active loan?
Plentina requires you to fulfill repayment of any active loans before applying for another.
How soon will I receive my store credit loan from Plentina?
Your store credit is available immediately after you accept our loan offer. You simply have to redeem the code thru your CLiQQ wallet.
How do I use my store credit?
Once loaded onto your CLiQQ wallet you may use the funds to purchase any item from 7-Eleven stores accepting CLiQQ payments.
Repayment
Where can I view the details of my outstanding loan?
Your loan details, along with your payment terms, will be shown in the Plentina app. You will also receive notifications when the due date is near.
How do I repay my store credit loan?
You may repay your loans online through the Plentina app using GCash or GrabPay. To repay, in the Loan tab, tap “Repay now”. You’ll be redirected to a payment mobile web page where you can use GCash or Grab Pay to repay your loan.
Are there transaction fees when repaying my loans through GCash and GrabPay?
No, we currently DO NOT charge any transactions fees for repayments. However we cannot guarantee that our payment channels do not charge transactions fees for using their platforms.
What happens when I don't pay for my store credit loan on time?
You will receive reminders to pay for your outstanding loans when they are overdue. You will also be charged a penalty. Details of the required amount will be shown in the app.

Account Safety
How does Plentina protect my privacy?
Plentina is data-privacy compliant and prioritizes protection of your data security. We will never release your data to third parties without your consent.
How can I further ensure that my data is secure?
Do not share your password and other personal information with anyone as this would put your account at risk.
